“After meeting Jason and Chelsey at an AcroYoga Solar Immersion in Hungary and having the opportunity to spend some additional time highlining with them in Solvina, we instantly knew that without question we wanted to experience a homestay with them in Bend. They are both the most wonderful and inspiring people who have an infectous energy that can’t help but propergate into your being. During our homestay experience with J&C we spent our time fine tuning our AcroYoga skills with training sessions that catered to our exact needs and skill levels. J&C Train hard! But they are also great hosts. We had plenty of time rest and relax, the food was FANTASTIC, they offered us a private masseuse and they also showed us around some of Bends local sights. We loved every minute of our time there. In three days we learnt so much, we left feeling excited about the progress we made and even more excited about our possibilities of our future practice. The time we spent with them was invaluable to us and we want more!! ” –Sam and Tash, AcroKiwis, NZ
“It has been exactly one year since I met Jason and Chelsey Magness at a Thanksgiving retreat they did. Since then I have done a Yogaslacker teacher training with them, an AcroYoga Immersion where I was lucky enough to spend a week with them at their home. At that first retreat it took exactly one conversation with Jason for him to start helping me find my edge. He immediately encouraged me to explore that edge. He did this not with a sense of “you need to do this” but with an attitude that inspired me to ask myself what I needed to accomplish it. Chelsey inspires in a completely different way, just being pure awesome!! She is utterly fearless and doesn’t even appear to struggle with any practice she has. With anything that they do, Jason and Chelsey do it with purpose and intention and a desire to do it better. Even when just playing around in the park turns into a game to see how far you can push yourself. I think without even realizing it every conversation with the two of them has to undertone of “how can we do this better?” One of my most memorable experiences with them was while I was staying with them during the Acro Immersion and they took me and several other people to walk our first highline. Being able to highline was one of the things that initially drew me to slacklining in the first place. I had seen pictures of it and thought that it would be terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. It did not disappoint! I was able to stand and walk my first highline that day and it will forever be one of my favorite memories and I am thankful for all the people that I got to share it with. Jason gave me the best complement I have every been given, he said that my style of slacklining is similar to Chelsey’s!! Not all of the people who were with me got to make their first walk. Some fell immediately. Others took some steps but did not make it completely across. As each of us came down from the line I took note of Jason and Chelsey’s approach with each of us. With each of us it was different. With me it was right back to how can we push to the next level. With others it was more subtle, things to work on, how to control their fear. After watching them take time to talk with each of us I realized that they left each of feeling like we had accomplished something but also with a idea of where our next hurdle lies. Being around J & C is infectious. They will leave you wanting more. That week I spent with them is one of my favorite trips! They will inspire you not only to train better but to be a better person!!” – Kyle Milton, Florida
